Well no. What I did do was to get my Mental health case study well under way. I am aiming to get this assignment out of the way and go full steam ahead with the methods assignment.<br /><br />I am confident that my Mental Health assignment will be finished by friday.<br /><br />Then I can start to fulfill last weekends objectives and make a good crack at the Methods. I think it's best to start with the easier assignment. I am also re-reading the module handbook for this reason. By the end of the weekend I intend to have read it all and have full clarity after all I don't want to get a 5000 word assignment wrong do I.<br /><br />Fortunately the assignment description for the mental health sounds more straight forward.<br /><br />In truth, I am bitter about this assignment, for two reasons. Firstly, I was under the impression that the objective was to write a journal article on a topic of my own choice to a targeted journal and try and get it published. Now it appears that it is a critical analysis of current research.<br /><br />Secondly with these new handouts from Lei, it seems that we are now finally having to learn the specifics of research from the acupuncture perspective. I am bitter because this has not been part of the course up to now and I have been subjected to sociology babble for two years, which at no time did I ever understand and at no time will I ever understand. It just seemed like a load of nitpicking, jargon and psuedoscience to me.<br /><br />I am glad to be looking at research from the reasuring bedrock of the acupuncture science perspective.
